Leevi Leppänen – Rokkaavat Rummut

Nyt saatavilla Online-Audiolla! Tämän suomalaisen rumpukirjallisuuden klassikon opit ovat jo yli 30 vuoden ajan iskostaneet rockrummutuksen perusteita yhä uusien rumpalipolvien mieleen.

Kirjan harjoitteet on tallennettu studiossa Leevi Leppäsen soittamina, ja teokseen sisältyvissä harjoitusbiiseissä mukana on eturivin ammattimuusikoista koottu studioyhtye. Harjoituskappaleista on miksattu myös erikseen opiskelijan oman soiton taustoiksi tarkoitetut versiot, joista rummut on jätetty pois. Tilalla on klikki (metronomi) sekä muita lyömäsoittimia ilmentämässä rytmiikkaa.

Leevi Leppänen (s.-58) otti ensimmäiset tuntumat ammattimuusikoiden ympyröistä 70-luvun lopulla, piti kokemastaan ja päätti ryhtyä tosimielellä hommiin.
Hommia onkin sitten riittänyt: klubikeikkoja, kiertueita, teatteriesityksiä, show- produktioita... Ja oli tyyli rock, jazz, latin tai siltä väliltä – kaikki toimii. Siksi, että Leevi otti aikanaan asioista selvää mm. opiskelemalla Oulunkylän Musiikkiopistossa (nykyään Konservatorio).
Leevi on toiminut koko uransa ajan myös opettajana, esim. Pop & Jazz Konser- vatoriossa, Helsingin ammattikorkeakoulussa ja Sibelius-Akatemiassa sekä lukuisil- la leireillä ja klinikoilla ympäri maan. Kokemusta ja materiaalia on vuosien varrelta kertynyt kohtuulliset määrät. Tähän kirjaan on siitä kaikesta suodatettu oleellisin: perusasiat notaatiosta, kompeista ja tekniikkaharjoituksista. Lisäksi nippu pitkällekin meneviä variaatioita ja neljä erityylistä biisiä.
Mukana on äänite, jossa Leevi soittaa näytteitä harjoituksista (väleihin on jätetty tilaa oppilaan toistaa kuulemaansa) sekä Vesa Anttilan, Tommi Lindellin ja Timo Turpeisen avustamana kaikki neljä biisiä. Biiseistä on myös rummuttomat miksauk- set, jotta voit soittaa (”clickin” tukemana) mukana.

Myös rummuttomat versiot ovat mukana, jolloin voit soittaa clickin tukemana bändin kera. Rokkaavat Rummut on nimenomaan rumpukoulu. Perusasiat selvitetään soittoasentoa myöten valokuvien kera.
