The Timpani Mallet TT108 has a very soft attack due to the two-layer padding. The Tonkin shaft is very resilient and stable. Tonk grows very straight by nature. In addition, the stems are straightened and hardened over an open flame. The cores of the TT 108 timpani mallets are made of cork. The soft felt that covers it is sewn by hand.
